Trek Pop! Vinyls Fail Women

by trekkiefeminist

So the first release of Star Trek Pop! vinyl figurines came out today at startrek.com. The only woman is “Orion Slave Girl” and she’s also the only figure so skinny she can’t stand on her own two feet so needed to be mounted to a stand.

Given there are only 6 figurines you can find more issues with the set (why Scotty instead of McCoy, for example?), and I expect we’ll get more, but really? Can’t a fan get an Uhura or a Chapel or a Rand before an even more ridiculously-proportioned than usual (even for these toys) green-skinned space babe?
